This multi-faceted fitness platform empowers individuals to thoroughly evaluate performance, set customized goals, and actively engage with the global community.</p>

<h2>Objective</h2><p>The primary aim was to develop a comprehensive and engaging fitness app, StrengthEQ, tailored for both novices and seasoned fitness enthusiasts. This platform was envisioned to not only track a user&#039;s progress but also provide competitive and gamification elements to bolster user commitment. By integrating detailed analytical tools with interactive features, the app aspired to offer a holistic overview of one&#039;s fitness progress and areas for improvement.</p>

<h2>Challenge</h2><p>Building StrengthEQ involved several unique challenges. It wasn&#039;t just about making a fitness app—it was about creating a platform that combined many features. The app needed to look good and provide detailed data for users. The challenge was in integrating fun elements, supporting a variety of exercises, and ensuring users&#039; videos were kept safe and secure. Every feature had to be easy to use to make sure the app remained user-friendly.</p>

To initiate the project, we reviewed the design and the provided requirements documentation. It was crucial to grasp all the calculations to ensure they would function as anticipated within the app. We chose Laravel for the backend and Ionic for the frontend, considering their suitability for the project's requirements. We identified and selected the necessary third-party tools and plugins to enable all app features. Establishing a GitLab repository, we set up the codebase and integrated code quality tools to maintain consistent standards throughout the development process.

Project Setup

We developed a comprehensive admin panel for the StrengthEQ project. This panel enabled efficient management of exercises, muscle groups, and their associated categories. In addition, it provided tools for overseeing user accounts and their associated data. Essential configurations, such as measurements and strength standards, were readily adjustable through the panel. A critical component was the leaderboard, allowing for monitoring and ranking of users based on their progress. Lastly, the panel also incorporated features to manage Google payments and subscription details seamlessly.

Admin Panel Development

At the heart of our solution was a comprehensive API, designed to cater to various functionalities of the app. This API managed a wide range of tasks, from data processing and analytics to seamlessly delivering data to the mobile platform. It updated calculations based on user inputs, such as exercises and measurements, managed user registration, and coordinated with Google for payment processes. Among its many responsibilities, it also handled calculations related to ideal body sizes.

REST API Development

Working off the client-provided designs, we concentrated on the core functions: user sign-up, profile setup, Google Pay, and smooth navigation throughout.

Mobile App Development

In the Feature Integration phase, we added core functions like exercise tracking, profile updates, and leaderboard participation. Users can visualize body strengths via spider charts, view ideal body measurements through infographics, and explore other participants' profiles. The app offers advanced leaderboard filters and a unique leveling system based on user activities.

Feature Implementation

We focused on optimizing the user experience of the app, ensuring it aligned with user expectations. Clear error messages were introduced for better user guidance, and prompts were added to inform users of the next steps. Our efforts ensured a smooth and intuitive experience for all fitness enthusiasts using the app.

User Experience Enhancement

We conducted a structured series of tests on different devices, evaluating various scenarios and the overall user flow. This process helped identify and rectify issues, ensuring the app worked effectively across platforms and provided a consistent user experience.

Iterative Testing

We successfully uploaded the app to Google Play, ensuring a smooth roll-out for users. Simultaneously, we made the API publicly accessible, paving the way for real-time data exchanges and seamless app functionality.

<p>The Pitve Wine Museum on the island of Hvar serves as a significant cultural landmark, spotlighting the area&#039;s rich winemaking history. Simple Code was selected to further enhance the visitor experience by developing 9 unique web applications that present a range of media types to augment educational engagement.</p>

<h2>Objective</h2><p>The aim was to create 9 web applications, each focused on delivering different types of content such as videos, slideshows, and textual information. These apps needed to be compatible with touchscreens of various sizes—24, 27, 32, and 43 inches—and offer language options in Croatian and English.</p>

<h2>Challenge</h2><p>The project posed several unique challenges that needed to be addressed seamlessly. Ensuring the applications ran effectively on multiple touchscreen sizes without internet access was a key technical constraint. Additionally, each app had to autostart with the computer and feature exit restrictions to secure the user environment. On top of these operational necessities, providing content in both Croatian and English was essential to cater to a diverse audience.</p>

Before diving into development, we engaged in thorough analysis of project requirements, hardware specifications, and design elements, raising any clarifying questions to ensure full alignment.

Preliminary Analysis

We laid the groundwork for creating 9 distinct applications from a unified codebase. Content files and a shared repository for all reusable blocks and components were established at this stage.

The sliced design assets were optimized for specific screen resolutions, with the addition of touch actions to enhance interactivity.

Design Slicing and Optimization

At this phase, we developed the code necessary for the apps' specialized features, such as autostart, exit restrictions, and other operational necessities, ensuring a secure and user-focused environment.

Specialized Coding

With the user in mind, the apps were designed to offer intuitive interfaces, easy navigation, and valuable content to provide both utility and engagement.

Through multiple rounds of testing, we ensured that the apps functioned flawlessly across varying touchscreen sizes and languages, adhering to all specified requirements.

The project culminated in the deployment of all 9 applications on the museum's hardware, confirming their optimal functionality from autostart features to exit restrictions.

Their primary concerns were the site&#039;s outdated design and the challenges in content modification. <h2>Objective</h2><p>Our main goal was to design a user-friendly app for capturing memories, enhanced with a variety of advanced features. Based on the client&#039;s design, we developed a seamless backend to support the app, story creation, and interactive features. We incorporated easy sign-ins through Google and Facebook and added personal touches with story templates for family members. Users could organize their tales with chapters, subchapters, and a Q&amp;A section. To make stories vivid, we allowed multimedia uploads, voice recordings, and included a specific media library for each narrative. Users could also share stories with public links, and the app offers multilingual support for global reach.</p>

On the backend, we tackled challenges like friend invites, public story sharing, and media library management. With additions like voice recordings, multimedia uploads, and multilingual support, our core goal was to ensure all features worked harmoniously, enhancing the user experience without adding complexity.</p>

Predefined questions for certain subchapters and personalized story templates, such as 'Mom' and 'Grandma', were added to simplify and enrich the storytelling process.

To enhance the user experience, we enabled multimedia uploads for easy addition of images and videos. Each story benefited from its own media library for hassle-free organization. We added in-app voice recording for a personal touch and allowed users to easily share their stories through public links.

Our journey kicked off by creating a new, supportive environment to significantly improve the application&#039;s responsiveness on various devices. Delving into the project, we didn&#039;t just fine-tune existing features; we introduced new, impactful functionalities as well. A cornerstone of our transformation was enhancing the application&#039;s usability to ensure effortless navigation and interaction for users. To complete the revamp, we also elevated the app&#039;s visual elements, aligning its aesthetics with its newly enhanced performance.</p>

<h2>Objective</h2><p>In the rapidly evolving digital landscape, the primary goal was to transition Faros Engineering Ltd. from their limited and archaic Silverlight-based application to a state-of-the-art web application. This new platform needed not just to be cutting-edge but also versatile across various devices, browsers, and operating systems. Our aim was to provide an all-encompassing solution that would make energy management, monitoring, and reporting a seamless experience for Faros Engineering and their clients.</p>

<h2>Challenge</h2><p>The original application of Faros Engineering was a product of its time – built with Microsoft Silverlight and exclusively tailored for Internet Explorer. This outdated configuration was becoming a bottleneck. It wasn&#039;t merely the lack of responsiveness on newer devices like tablets that was concerning; the app struggled with handling vast datasets and delivering accurate, timely reports. Additionally, the restricted nature of the platform made it challenging to incorporate modern features and integrations. The task at hand was to navigate these technological constraints and transform the application into a beacon of modern design and functionality.</p>

Our initial step was to deeply understand the technical requirements, challenges, and vision of the project. By immersing ourselves in the client's objectives, we set a clear direction for the transformation journey.

Laying out the visual roadmap, we crafted a custom-branded design and interactive prototype. This ensured alignment with the envisioned outcome, offering a tangible representation of the final product for early feedback.
